Czech Republic striker Patrik Schick has been the named the recipient of the best goal award at the just concluded Euro 2020 tournament. The Bayer Leverkusen star won the award for the best goal at Euro 2020 following his second strike against Scotland as he scored a brace to lead his country to a 2-0 win in their opening game of the tournament.
Schick beat nine others to emerge as the recipient forthe Euro 2020 Goal of the Tournament. The former AS Roma attacker had given the Czechs a well deserved lead in the first half of the game played at Hampden Park in Glasgow via a header at the expense of the hosts before he scored an audacious chip from the halfway line to double the lead for his country at the start of the second half. Schick spotted Scotland shot stopper David Marshall off his line before he produced the moment that led to him being crowned the recipient of the best goal scored at Euro 2020.
